Sky-Watcher Aplanatic Coma Corrector f/4: The finishing touch for every fast Newtonian
Fast Newtons at f/4 provide a lot of light, but also coma: stars at the edge get comet-like tails. This four-element aplanatic corrector is designed to completely correct that coma at f/4, so that stars remain round and sharp across the entire field of view. For the Quattro astrographs, this is the intended culmination.

The corrector slides into the 2-inch focuser and offers an M48 connection on the camera side, compatible with Sky-Watcher M48 rings for Canon EOS and Nikon, and with astronomical cameras using standard spacer rings. The filter thread accommodates a filter within the light path.
Features
- Aplanatic design with 4 lenses, optimized for f/4
- Round stars to the corners of the sensor
- 2 inch steekvatting, M48 camera side, filter thread
Compatibility
Suitable for fast Newtonians around f/4, such as the Sky-Watcher Quattro line. For Newtonians around f/5, the 2-inch Coma Corrector 1.0x is the appropriate alternative.
