The Omegon 1.5x Deluxe erecting lens also turns your telescope into a daytime instrument. The roof prism corrects the image completely: upright and left-right correct, just like looking with the naked eye.

This also makes your Newtonian or refractor usable for nature observation: birds, ships, and landscapes in their natural orientation.

Roof prism instead of simple lens

Simple reversing lenses only flip the image upright; the reflection remains. The roof prism of this Deluxe model corrects both directions, with multi-coating to preserve brightness and contrast.

The 1.5x magnification factor also gives your existing eyepieces just a bit more reach.

T2 mount for photography

Using the T2 thread, you connect a camera with a T2 ring. This allows you to photograph through the telescope with a correctly oriented image, which is useful for remote nature photography.
