ZWO Camera ASI 220MM Mini Mono: The most sensitive guide camera in the Mini line

The ASI220MM Mini is ZWO’s most advanced guiding camera. The SC2210 sensor achieves a quantum efficiency of no less than 92% and a readout noise as low as 0.6 electrons. In practice, this means: fainter guide stars can be used, shorter guiding exposures are possible, and thus faster corrections and sharper stars.

The familiar Mini size remains: 60 grams, 1.25-inch housing, USB 2.0 and an ST-4 port. This allows the camera to fit into any off-axis guider or finderscope without straining the focuser.

Sensitivity that changes guiding

The shorter the guiding exposure, the faster your mount is corrected. Thanks to its high sensitivity, you can guide with this camera on exposures where older guiders would lose stars, even through the narrow prism of an off-axis guider.

The 1920 x 1080 sensor with 4.0 micrometer pixels offers a generous field of view with a full well of 8780 electrons.

Also deployable for planets

With 14 images per second at full resolution and low noise, the camera is also suitable for moon and planet shots, for example as a second camera next to your main setup.

Via the 1.25-inch fitting, it fits directly into focusers and finderscopes; the ST-4 port connects to the autoguiding input of virtually any mount.
