Omegon Argus Binoculars - Maximum magnification for deep observations
The Omegon Argus 20×80 is made for those who want to see further. Much further. These binoculars bring stars, nebulae and distant details close, even deep into the night. Thanks to the high light output, the image remains clear when it gets dark. So you see more, exactly when it counts.
Large, but surprisingly manageable
Despite its size, the Argus feels solid and balanced. The magnesium body keeps the weight contained. That means more stability and less fatigue while observing.

Clear and natural image
You are looking at a clean, white image with no color cast. Multicoating on all lenses reduces reflections and stray light. The result? More contrast and a brighter image, so details stand out more.
Sharp from center to edge
Every detail remains sharp, even at the edges of the image. The eyepieces with eight lens elements ensure an even and calm image. Ideal at high magnification, where sharpness is especially important.
Suitable for eyeglass wearers
You wear glasses? Feel free to leave them on. The eyepieces are designed for comfortable viewing with full field of view.
Individual focusing
Adjust each eyepiece properly once. After that, you are immediately ready to observe. Useful when you want to react quickly to a special moment in the sky.
Built for outdoor use
The Argus is waterproof, filled with nitrogen and shockproof. It can withstand cold, moisture and intensive use. This makes it reliable during nighttime observations in the field.
What we recommend
✓ Astronomy: Good for moon, stars and bright deep-sky objects
✓ Observations at fixed location: ideal from tripod or fixed position
✗ Bird watching: not suitable due to high magnification and weight
✗ Travel & sports: too big and heavy to carry
✗ Theater & events: impractical
