What makes this telescope special
The FF65 is a so-called flatfield astrograph: a refractor built specifically for astrophotography, not visual use. Instead of a standard quad system, ZWO here opts for a quintuplet, or five lens elements in total. Two of them are made of ED glass, which virtually eliminates chromatic aberration (color fringing).

The plane field correction is internally integrated, No need to buy a separate flattener or take complicated back focus measurements. Just connect your camera via one of the included adapters, focus, and you're ready to shoot - with sharp stars all the way to the image edge.

Ease of use and flexibility
The focuser is 2.5 inches in diameter and features a 1:10 micro-adjustment, which makes accurate focusing easy. You can rotate it 360° to perfectly frame your composition without losing focus.

With three included adapters (M48, M54 and M68), the telescope is suitable for almost all common astro cameras. There is a fixed backfocus distance for each type of connection, so you know immediately how to position your camera.

Build quality and mobility
