Yellow color filter 2 inch - Omegon #12

This 2-inch yellow color filter from Omegon is a simple yet powerful tool for seeing more detail while observing. By filtering some of the light, textures and contrast come out better. For example, on Mars you can better distinguish the polar caps and dust storms, and on Jupiter the cloud bands and their fine details.

The filter glass is fully colored and placed in an anodized aluminum mount. Thanks to its thin rim (only 5 mm), the filter also fits easily into a filter wheel or zenith mirror. The double thread makes it possible to combine filters for an even more specific effect. The filter comes in a sturdy plastic storage box.
