The William Optics Flat73A gives your stars sharp, rounded edges all the way to the outside of your image. Without a flattener, you often see distortion, especially with fast refractors and larger camera sensors. This flattener eliminates that problem, giving your photos a professional look without additional post-processing.

The Flat73A is specially designed for the ZenithStar 73. You screw it directly onto the focuser, sturdy and stable. No need to fiddle with loose adapters or shaky connections. Everything is fixed, so your camera will never sink during a long exposure.
Adjustment is simple. Turn the adjustable ring until the distance is correct and tighten it. This will keep your image plane flat, keeping every star crisp and bright. You can even screw your M48 filters directly onto the flattener. Useful if you change filters often or want a compact setup.

Want to switch from visual to photography? Simply unscrew the end piece and mount your camera via the M48 connector. You remain flexible whether you use a DSLR, system camera or other astro camera.
The Flat73A ensures that your ZenithStar 73 does exactly what you want it to do: take sharp, clean astrophotos without distortion. You get more detail, a more beautiful field of view, and a system that is reliable and future-proof.
