Compact Maksutov for planets and deep-sky

The Skywatcher MC 127/1500 SkyMax-127 AZ-GTi offers powerful performance in a compact tube of only 33 cm. With an aperture of 127 mm and a focal length of 1500 mm, you will see planets razor sharp and deeper starry objects in detail. The telescope collects a lot of light, making even fainter objects visible.

Razor-sharp images with high contrast

The Maksutov-Cassegrain optics provide a high-contrast image of planets, the Moon and bright deep-sky objects. The long focal length allows you to see fine details, such as cloud bands on Jupiter or rings of Saturn. This telescope is also excellent for nature observations and moon photography. A T2 thread makes it easy to connect an SLR camera.

Smart AZ-GTi mount with WiFi GoTo

The lightweight azimuth mount carries up to 5 kg and automatically tracks celestial bodies. You connect the mount to your smartphone or tablet via WiFi. The SynScan app lets you choose from 10,000 objects and track them accurately. Alignment is easy, even as a beginner, and the app helps you identify objects.

FreedomFind and flexible use

With FreedomFind, the mount remembers its position even if you move the telescope by hand. So you adjust big and fine manually without power loss. The mount runs on batteries or a Powertank and can be connected via a standard photo screw.

Complete and ready to use

The SkyMax-127 comes with 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces, a 1.25″ star diagonal, a red dot viewfinder and an aluminum tripod. Everything is ready to use, so you can start viewing and photographing right away.
