The Skywatcher MC 127/1500 SkyMax-127 AZ-5 is a powerful telescope in a compact tube. With an aperture of 127 mm, it captures more than twice as much light as a 90 mm telescope. That means bright images of the Moon, planets and many deep-sky objects. Despite the short tube of 33 cm, you enjoy a focal length of 1500 mm, allowing you to see planets in contrast and detail.

Perfect sharpness and versatility

The Maksutov-Cassegrain design gives you sharp images of stars, nebulae and planets. The internal focuser lets you focus easily, so details always stay clear. The 1.25″ connector and T2 thread lets you attach an SLR camera for nature photos or moon shots. You can even capture birds with this long focal length.

AZ-5 mount for smooth motion

The AZ-5 mount moves smoothly and accurately. You track objects effortlessly from the horizon to the zenith. Slip torques and fine worm gears keep your images stable, without a hitch. An optional L-holder lets you attach additional accessories.

The telescope comes with 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces, slow-motion cable, 6×30 viewfinder and a 1.25″ zenith prism. Within minutes, it is ready to use. The black, glossy design looks elegant and is also compact enough for easy carrying.
