The Skywatcher AC 102/500 Startravel-102 AZ-5 is a compact and lightweight telescope that you can take with you quickly. With a lens diameter of 102 mm, it captures quite a bit of light, enough to see bright images of the Moon, planets and nebulae. The short focal length allows you to see a large field, ideal for tracking galaxies or for a “space walk” through the Orion Nebula or the Andromeda System.

Razor-sharp images, easy use

The achromatic lens gives you sharp images even at higher magnifications. Errors in color and distortion are minimized, so you see Moon, Jupiter and Saturn in detail. The focuser lets you focus effortlessly, keeping every object bright and clear.

AZ-5 mount for smooth movement

The AZ-5 azimuthal mount moves smoothly and precisely. With slip torques and fine worm gears, follow stars and planets without a hitch. The mount can support up to 5 kg, making it perfect for this telescope. Additional accessories attach easily via an optional L mount.

Supplied ready to use and complete

The telescope comes with 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces, 6×30 viewfinder, 1.25″ zenith prism, slow-motion cable and a 2″/1.25″ eyepiece adapter. Within minutes it is ready for observation. Its light weight and compact size make it easy to take anywhere.
