Omegon Red Dot Finder for DSLR flash shoe makes locating large celestial objects with your camera much easier. Especially in astrophotography without a telescope - for example, with telephoto lens or wide angle - it is difficult to get an accurate image of a nebula or galaxy. With this LED viewfinder, you can instantly see where your camera is pointing and save a lot of searching.
The viewfinder simply slides into the hot shoe of your SLR or system camera. Through the 40 mm opening, you look relaxed at the sky and see a floating dot in red or green. This dot marks exactly the point where your camera is pointed. With the five dimming levels you adjust the brightness optimally, so that the dot remains visible without disturbing your night vision.
The sturdy metal housing is anodized and built to last for years. Dual adjustment options (horizontal and vertical) allow you to accurately align the viewfinder with your camera. Also included in delivery are a hotshoe adapter, covers, Allen wrenches and a CR2032 battery.
Application
Ideal for astrophotographers who want to capture large objects with a DSLR or system camera, such as the Andromeda Nebula, the California Nebula or the Milky Way. Suitable for both night shots and day shots with telephoto lenses.
