Omegon 2″ Extension sleeve 45 mm

The Omegon 2″ Extension Sleeve 45 mm is designed to solve focusing problems on telescopes where the focus point is too far out. With this extension you bridge the optical path so that the focuser can be used in a normal position again and eyepieces or cameras focus without problems.

The sleeve is made of black anodized aluminum and features internal slots that prevent reflections. Thanks to the sturdy spring ring clamp and lock nut, even heavy accessories remain stable and secure in place. At the bottom is an M48 filter thread for the use of 2″ filters.

A special detail of this model is the recess at the top. This is specially designed for the clamping screw of short 2″/1.25″ reducers, making this extension sleeve a perfect fit for the Omegon Alpha Crayford 2″ focuser for Newton telescopes.

Application

The Omegon 2″ Extension Sleeve 45mm is ideal for correcting the focus point on telescopes optimized for photography. Thanks to the additional recess, this model is particularly suitable for Newton telescopes with a 2″ Alpha Crayford focuser. Suitable for both visual observation and astrophotography.
