This light blue 2-inch color filter from Omegon is a subtle filter ideal for observing fine details on planets. On Jupiter and Saturn, it enhances contrast in cloud bands and makes small storm areas and structures more visible. On Mars, it helps to better distinguish polar caps and clouds or nebulae around the edge of the planet. With the Moon, too, this filter provides a quieter image with extra sharpness along the terminator, without too much light loss.

The glass is fully colored and placed in a sturdy anodized aluminum mount with a thickness of only 5 mm. Thanks to this thin design, the filter fits easily into filter wheels and zenith mirrors. The double filter thread allows combining filters for specific observations. The filter comes in a sturdy protective box.
