With its 70 mm opening it captures over a hundred times more light than the naked eye and clearly more than standard 60 mm beginners' models. Thus, at magnifications up to 140× the rings of Saturn, the moon of Jupiter, the polar caps of Mars and numerous craters on the moon with bright contrast.
The long focal length of 900 mm (f/12.9) delivers sharp, colorfast images with high contrast, just what you want for planetary and lunar viewing. The achromatic lens Minimizes color errors and provides clarity into the middle of the night.

The telescope is equipped with a stable alt-azimuth mount, making it easy to move horizontally and vertically.
