The ZWO Tilting Lens T2 is designed specifically for astrophotographers who strive for optimal sharpness across the entire field of view. Even minor misalignments in the alignment of sensor, focuser or optics can lead to blur in the corners. This ultra-compact tilt lens corrects that problem accurately and structurally.
This adapter makes it possible to adjust the camera sensor at a minimum angle so that the optical plane of the telescope is again perfectly aligned with the image sensor. This eliminates disturbing distortions, asymmetric stars or slight vignetting caused by misalignment of components.
The tilt flange is only 2 mm optical thickness, allowing it to fit effortlessly into virtually any setup - even with limited back focus. The manually adjustable adjustment screws allow you to correct exactly the right angle via test shots. Once adjusted, everything stays firmly in place thanks to the locking screws.
