The variable camera adapter 2 inch is a practical tool for astrophotography where the distance between camera and telescope must be accurately adjusted. This adapter offers an infinitely adjustable range, making it easy to find the right optical length without using separate extension rings.
The adapter fits directly into a 2″ eyepiece mount and has a T2 connection on the other side to which you attach a camera (with T2 ring). The adjustment mechanism allows you to vary the distance between telescope and camera sensor between 63 and 97 mm. This gives more flexibility for focusing, projection or achieving the optimal back focus in different setups.
The robust aluminum housing and internal matte finish ensure maximum stability and prevent reflections. As a result, image contrast remains high even at long exposures.
