Versatile Newton for beginners and advanced users

The Skywatcher N 150/1200 150PL is a powerful Newton telescope that will satisfy novice and experienced astronomers alike. With a 150 mm main mirror, you catch a lot of light, so even distant deep-sky objects such as the Ring Nebula or Halterne Nebula become visible. Globular clusters like M13 dissolve into dozens of individual stars. Planetary observations see clear details of Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Mars. With an f/8 aperture ratio, this telescope is a true all-rounder: suitable for both deep-sky and planetary observations.

Compact and easy to use

The tube is light and portable, only 5.9 kg. You can easily place it on a parallactic mount thanks to the tube ring clamps and dovetail. A small catch mirror with thin mounts provides high contrast, so you get bright and sharp images. The 1.25″ focuser operates stably and there is a built-in T-wire for connecting a camera, including piggyback adapter.

Complete and ready to use immediately

The telescope comes with 25 mm and 10 mm 1.25″ eyepieces, a 2× Barlow lens and a 6×30 viewfinder. So you can start observing and photographing the sky right away.

What to expect

✓ Moon: sharp craters and mountains
✓ Planets: cloud bands, rings and polar caps visible
✓ Deep-sky: bright nebulae and galaxies
✗ Astrophotography: possible, but limited without motorization
✗ Sun: only with suitable sun filters
