Clear images with lots of detail
The Skywatcher AC 120/1000 EQ5 immediately gives you a clear and calm image as soon as you look into it. The 120 mm aperture captures a lot of light, so you see more than with a small telescope. The Moon shows sharp edges and deep shadows. Jupiter shows cloud bands. Saturn shows its rings effortlessly. You see more detail, and the image remains stable as you watch.

Sharp image for Moon and planets
The f/8.3 aperture helps reduce color errors. So you get a clean, high-contrast image. This helps you see small differences, such as the polar caps of Mars or the Great Red Spot on Jupiter. You don't have to do anything complicated. You point, focus, and see immediate results.

Wide view when you need it
The telescope has a 2″ eyepiece mount. This allows you to use wide eyepieces to see much of the sky at once. Useful if you are looking for large nebulae or just want to look around. You also get an adapter with it so you can use 1.25″ eyepieces. So you choose how you want to observe.
Suitable for first astrophotos
Want to take pictures? You can. You can capture the Moon and planets directly. Bright nebulae are also possible with additional accessories. The optics provide enough light and detail to take your first steps in astrophotography without having to learn everything at once.
EQ5 mount for stable tracking
The EQ5 is sturdy and gives you quiet movement. You track objects with simple dials. After a brief alignment, you easily keep your target in view. If you want more later, you can add motors or additional attachments. This way, the telescope grows with you.
Everything you need to get started
You get two eyepieces, a star diagonal, a sturdy viewfinder and tube rings. You set up the telescope, point it at the Moon or a planet, focus - and you're ready to observe. Simple, clear and fast.
