Sky-Watcher Telescope AC 150/1200 EvoStar OTA is an impressive achromatic refractor with an aperture of 150 mm and a focal length of 1200 mm (f/8). This large refractor combines high light output with excellent resolution, making it ideal for both planetary observations and bright deep-sky objects.

Thanks to its 150 mm aperture, this EvoStar 56% captures more light than a 120 mm refractor. This means that faint objects, such as the Andromeda Nebula, the Veil Nebula or globular clusters like M13, can be seen more clearly and in greater detail. At the same time, the long focal length delivers high image sharpness and well-corrected colors. Thus you can see the finest structures in the cloud bands of Jupiter, the Cassini line in the rings of Saturn and the variable polar caps of Mars.

The 2″ focuser with T2 thread makes this OTA versatile. You can use both 1.25″ and 2″ eyepieces, taking advantage of wide-angle observations or just high magnifications. The telescope is also suitable for simple astrophotography of the Moon, planets and bright nebulae, if placed on a stable equatorial mount.

The tube design is stylish and robust: black metallic with dew cap, tube rings and a Vixen swallowtail for quick mounting.

Application
This 150/1200 refractor is intended for advanced observers who want to view both planets and deep-sky objects in detail. It delivers high magnifications for sharp planetary detail, but also provides the luminosity to make nebulae and galaxies convincingly visible. For astrophotography, it is suitable for the Moon and planets; long-exposure deep-sky photography requires a very stable EQ mount.
