The Sky-Watcher SkyMax 127 AZ-Go2 GoTo Telescope is the perfect choice if you want to have the Moon, planets and bright deep-sky objects automatically searched by your telescope. This compact Maksutov-Cassegrain combines razor-sharp optics with a fully automatic GoTo mount that you easily control via the SynScan app on your smartphone or tablet.
With a 127 mm opening and 1500 mm focal length (f/12) this telescope delivers high-contrast, sharp images of the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn. Thanks to the closed optical system, the telescope remains dust-free and stable in image quality even with temperature changes. In addition, the tube is only 28 cm long, making it effortless to take it with you to dark observing locations.
Automatic control via app
The AZ-Go2 mount features integrated WiFi and collaborates with the free SynScan app (iOS and Android). You simply choose an object from the database of more than 10,000 celestial bodies, after which the telescope automatically aims itself ánd follows the object during your observation.
The app is multilingual configurable (including Dutch and English) - so German is not the default language. Thanks to the alt-azimuth setup, you don't have to align the telescope to the pole star; it's ready to use in minutes.
