This 2-inch Pro LRGB filter set from Omegon is designed for astrophotographers who want to get the most out of their monochrome CCD or CMOS camera. By using separate filters, a monochrome camera utilizes all the pixels of the sensor, rather than just a portion as with color cameras. The result: razor-sharp astrophotos with exceptionally high resolution and true-to-life colors.

The set includes four filters:

• Luminance (L): allows all visible light to pass through, but blocks UV and IR radiation. This allows you to capture the full structure of an object.
• Red (R), Green (G) and Blue (B): these filters provide the individual color channels. Combining shots per channel creates a color image with maximum detail.

The Pro Series features high-quality coatings and neutral color balance. The 2-inch size makes this filter set ideal for larger sensors and widefield astrophotography. Use the filters in a 2″ filter wheel to change quickly and accurately during a session.
