Omegon Premium Moon Filter - 1.25″

While observing the moon, the bright light can quickly become tiresome. This premium moon filter attenuates the light and boosts contrast so you can watch comfortably for longer and see more detail. The natural colors of the moon are preserved and textures on planets also come out better.

Unlike cheaper filters, this premium version is made of clear and homogeneous glass and mounted in a sturdy metal frame. As a result, image quality remains high and no unwanted color cast occurs. The filter is easily mounted by screwing it into the eyepiece.

With a transmission of about 30%, this filter is ideal for telescopes up to about 150 mm aperture, especially during bright moon phases. It also provides more calmness and contrast in the image during planetary observations.
