Omegon Planetary filters various colors

The Omegon Planetary Filters 1.25″ increase contrast in planetary observations and make visible subtle details that would otherwise be lost. By using a color filter, you enhance specific structures, such as cloud bands, polar caps or ring details. The filters easily screw into any 1.25″ eyepiece and they are suitable for both refractor and reflector telescopes.

Each filter comes in a sturdy aluminum holder with optical glass and multilayer coating, so the image remains clear and true to nature. This allows you to get more out of your telescope, even under varying seeing conditions.

Application
Choose the color that matches your observation:

• Light Blue (#12897): Enhances cloud bands on Jupiter and Saturn, accentuates polar caps on Mars.
• Orange (#12899): Improves contrast on Mars, makes dust storms and dark areas more visible.
• Purple (#12901): ideal for Venus and Saturn, exposes details in rings and cloud structures.
