When observing the moon or planets, the image can quickly become too bright, causing details to be lost. With this variable polarizing filter, you control the light transmission between approximately 1% and 40%. This way, you adjust the contrast exactly to the conditions and see more details without being blinded.
The filter consists of two rotating parts. By rotating them relative to each other, you control the light intensity infinitely. This makes it particularly suitable for the moon, for bright planetary details and even for solar observation in combination with a special certified solar filter.
The neutral gray filter glass provides true-to-life color reproduction without unwanted color tones. The 2″ connection makes this filter suitable for larger eyepieces and telescopes using 2″ optics.
