Get more out of your first telescope with this compact accessory set. Often, entry-level telescopes only come with one or two eyepieces. As a result, you miss out on magnifications and details on the planets or in moon craters remain limited. With the Omegon Ocular Kit for Beginners, you expand your possibilities immediately.
This set not only gives you extra magnifications, but also filters to get more contrast AND a Barlow lens to even connect a camera for your first moon pictures.
More magnifications to see more
The set includes a 15 mm Kellner eyepiece and a 6 mm Plössl eyepiece.
- 15 mm - medium magnifications, ideal for craters on the moon and compact star clusters.
- 6 mm - higher magnifications to see details on planets such as Jupiter or Saturn well.
If you combine these eyepieces with the included 2× Barlow lens, you can easily double the magnification. For example, with a telescope of 1000 mm focal length, you can work at 66×, 133× and even 200× magnification.
Filters for more contrast
You screw the three included filters directly into the eyepieces.
- Moon Filter - reduces bright moonlight and increases the contrast of craters.
- Red and blue filter - improve subtle structures, such as polar caps on Mars or cloud bands on Jupiter.
Simple first astrophotos
The Barlow lens has a T-thread to which you can connect a T2 ring. With this you can easily connect a DSLR camera and take your first pictures of, for example, the moon.
Everything compactly stored
The set comes in a sturdy plastic storage box with foam rubber, so all parts are well protected and you can easily carry them with you.
