The Omegon Camera veTEC 455 M Mono is the top model within the veTEC line and designed for astrophotographers who do not want to compromise. This full-frame camera with Sony IMX455 monochrome sensor captures even the most subtle structures in the cosmos thanks to its high resolution and extremely low noise.

With a sensor size of 24×36 mm and 61 megapixels, a huge field of view is created. This makes the camera ideal for extensive deep-sky projects, capturing emission nebulae, galaxies and globular clusters in unprecedented detail. The high quantum efficiency (>80%) and 16-bit ADC ensure that faint signals remain visible even under light-polluted conditions.

Active cooling reduces sensor temperature to 35 °C below ambient temperature. This minimizes noise and heat pixels and makes darkframes reproducible and reliable. The global pre-buffer and USB 3.0 connection guarantee stable transfer of large files. The built-in USB hub lets you connect accessories such as a filter wheel or focuser directly to the camera, keeping cables to a minimum.
