Light green color filter 2 inch - Omegon #56

Omegon's light green color filter #56 lets you get more detail out of your planetary observations. This 2-inch filter is particularly suitable for observing Jupiter and Saturn, where it intensifies contrast differences in cloud bands and rings. Also for Mars, the filter helps make polar caps and light dust clouds more visible. In addition, it attenuates bright moonlight, making craters and surface details more visible.

The filter glass is fully colored and mounted in a robust, anodized aluminum mount with a thin profile of only 5mm. This ensures that the filter can be easily used in a filter wheel or zenith mirror. Thanks to the double filter thread, it is possible to combine multiple filters. The filter comes in a sturdy plastic storage box for protection.
