Lightweight powerhouse
With a carrying capacity of 12.7 kg the GEM28 effortlessly lifts medium-sized telescopes. Yet it weighs only 4.5 kg. That means you can easily take it with you to dark observing spots without compromising stability or performance.
The clever design distributes weight and load perfectly (ratio 2:8). This keeps the mount stable even with heavier optics - important for sharp images and accurate tracking.
Smart alignment even without a Pole Star
The built-in iPolar electronic polar finder (or optional AccuAlign) makes alignment quick and easy. Don't see the North Star? No problem - with the Easy Polar Alignment function you adjust precisely anyway. Within minutes you are ready to observe or photograph.
Precise tracking for razor-sharp results
The GEM28 tracks celestial bodies with a tracking accuracy of 0.17 arc seconds. That means: sharp pictures, even at long exposures. The permanent periodic error correction (PEC) Moreover, it learns from previous movements so that tracking continues to improve.
Wireless control with Go2Nova®
Thanks to the Go2Nova® technology you have direct access to more than 212,000 objects in the sky. With the touch of a button, you navigate to stars, nebulae and planets.
The hand controller's large LCD screen is bright, intuitive and also works well with gloves - perfect for cold nights.
Prefer to work wirelessly? The built-in WiFi system lets you control everything from your smartphone, tablet or laptop.

The CNC-machined metal construction Feels robust but remains light. Large clamps and latches are easy to use, even with gloves.
