The Celestron Telescope Astrograph S 203/400 RASA 800 AVX GoTo is one of the fastest and most advanced astrographs on the market. Designed for professional level astrophotography, this telescope offers exceptional image quality, even at short exposure times.

This telescope is built for one thing: fast and sharp deep-sky photography.
The Celestron RASA 203/400 is a so-called astrograph - that is, it is made to take images, not to look through. Instead of eyepieces, use a CMOS or mirrorless camera to capture deep space objects with unprecedented speed and sharpness.
How soon?
Thanks to the f/2 optics, you can take pictures in 30 to 60 seconds where classic telescopes need 10 minutes. That means: more shots per night, less hassle with tracking and much more results.
What makes this telescope unique:
- 203 mm opening for lots of light output
- 400 mm focal length for wide-angle images
- Special corrector lenses Keep stars sharp across the entire image
- Internal filter holder for adding light pollution filters
The Advanced VX mount makes it both mobile and stable. It offers GoTo navigation, automatic tracking and error correction during longer sessions. Compact enough to carry around - accurate enough for professional use.
For which cameras?
- CMOS and mirrorless cameras work perfectly
- APS-C sensors are optimal
- Full-frame can, with slight vignetting
- DSLRs don't work, due to too little backfocus
What can you capture with this setup?
✓ Emission nebulae such as the Orion Nebula, Rosette Nebula or North American Nebula
✓ Large-scale star fields with razor-sharp stars to the edges
✓ Galaxies such as Andromeda, Bode's Galaxy or the Triangle Galaxy
✓ Deep-sky images in short sessions, without heavy tracking setups
Who is this system suitable for?
For serious or professional astrophotographers who value speed and image quality over visual observation. Ideal for those who work with cameras and want to take wide-angle images with maximum efficiency.
