It works perfectly with a Herschel wedge (Herschel prism), because the light is already polarized there. So you immediately get the right contrast and a pleasant image without glare.

You simply screw the filter into the filter thread of your eyepiece. By turning the eyepiece slightly, you control how bright the image is. It feels natural - fast, smooth and just the way you want it.
