With the education program of Star-Talk and Telescope.co.uk we bring astronomy, stargazing, technology and wonder together in education.
The program is designed for schools that want to teach students in a modern way to think critically and to experience that learning comes not only from books, but also from observations, experiences and daring to ask questions.

Meanwhile, several schools are already working successfully with our teaching package, which combines smart telescopes with ready-made teaching materials on astronomy, reflection and technology.
Students discover the world beyond the classroom and teachers do not have to prepare or technically install anything.

What we offer

The program is modular and suitable for the mbo, hbo and secondary education.
It does not require any technical prior knowledge of teacher or student, everything that is needed, we deliver complete and ready to use.

The curriculum can be used in subjects such as physics, engineering, study career guidance (SLB)., coaching, philosophy, graphic design, citizenship and career orientation (LOB). But the program is modular, so it is not limited to the above subjects. It fits within any existing cirriculum.

Learning to look, think and understand

Astronomy is more than looking at the sky, it is learning to observe, make connections and discover meaning.
Using the Seestar S30 smart telescope and the assignments in the curriculum, students learn step-by-step how to observe and understand the universe.
They study the moon, stars and planets, learn about light, distance and perspective, and then reflect on larger questions:
What does this say about our place in the universe? And how does technology relate to what we observe?
