Big picture, clear result
The SkywatcherN 406/1800 gives you a tremendous amount of light. That means you see more, see faster and see brighter. A 16-inch mirror grabs so much light that faint nebulae and distant galaxies suddenly come alive. You get a clearer view of everything you're tracking: from Saturn's rings to details in the Orion Nebula. So you get more out of every observing session.

FlexTube: quick to set up, easy to carry
You slide the tube out, lock it ... and you're good to go. The FlexTube design saves space in the car and makes the telescope lighter than you expect. The tube remains stable even fully extended. That gives you peace of mind while watching and makes moving much easier.

Parabolic 16-inch mirror for maximum brightness
The large mirror captures 31% more light than a 14-inch model. So you see objects that easily disappear with smaller telescopes. Think faint star clusters, fine structures in nebulae and subtle details on planets that are normally just out of reach. It feels like the sky is suddenly a lot deeper.
Crayford focuser: focusing without the hassle
The focuser moves smoothly and accurately. You turn a tiny bit and the focus clicks into place. The T2 connection makes it easy to connect a camera, so you can capture bright objects as well. But above all, your image remains calm, clear and sharp, even at higher magnifications.
Stable Dobson base for smooth movement
Pointing is intuitive. Push, follow and enjoy. The base dampens vibrations so your image stays calm. You follow an object without frustration, even at high magnifications. Thus, observing feels natural and relaxed.
Supplied ready to use
You get everything you need to get started right away: 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces, 9×50 viewfinder, collapsible tube, Crayford focuser and collimation marker. Within minutes you'll have a fully functioning telescope.
