Powerful Newton for beginners

The Skywatcher N 130/650 Explorer-130P AZ-Go2 offers 130 mm of light collection in a compact and lightweight housing. It is ideal for beginning stargazers who want to see beautiful images quickly. You'll see Saturn's rings, Jupiter's cloud bands and bright nebulae such as the Orion Nebula as if you were close by.

Smart control with your smartphone

With the AZ-Go2 mount, the telescope automatically follows the motion of the stars. Choose an object in the SynScan app and the telescope focuses on it. You don't have to align anything manually. Control works via wifi on smartphone or tablet, and optionally with a hand-held controller.

Sturdy tripod and low-vibration mount

The stainless steel tripod stands firmly and keeps the telescope stable. The single-arm mount is light and compact, but prevents the telescope from bumping into the arm at zenith. The compact design dampens vibrations quickly, even in windy conditions.

Supplied ready to use

The telescope comes complete with 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces, red dot finder, stainless steel tripod with accessory holder and all the supplies you need to get started right away. Within minutes you'll be ready for your first stargazing adventure.

Perfect for beginners

The Explorer-130P combines luminosity, ease of use and smart technology. Ideal for exploring Moon, planets and bright deep-sky objects. Compact, stable and easy to operate.
