The Skywatcher MC 127/1500 combines compact dimensions with a long focal length. With an aperture of 127 mm, you catch a lot of light, making planets and nebulae bright and contrasty. The Maksutov-Cassegrain optics provide sharp images of the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn. Despite the short 33 cm tube, you enjoy a focal length of 1540 mm. This allows you to see details that smaller telescopes miss.
Versatile and ready for photography
The telescope has an integrated T2 thread. You easily connect an SLR camera. This allows you to take nature or moon photos with high sharpness. You control the focus with a rotary knob on the side. This gives a wide range and ensures that everything is always razor-sharp.
Virtuoso GTi mount with smart features
The Virtuoso GTi automatically moves the telescope to your chosen object and tracks it. Thanks to Wi-Fi, you connect your smartphone wirelessly via the SynScan app. A Freedom-Find™ Dual-Encoder also lets you move manually without losing position. The table tripod has a 3/8″ thread, so you can place the entire setup on a tripod.
What to expect
✓ Moon: craters and mountains sharply visible ✓ Planets: rings, cloud bands and disks detailed ✓ Deep-sky: bright nebulae and galaxies ✗ Astrophotography: limited suitability ✗ Sun: only with suitable sun filters
