The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i has become the worldwide standard for portable astrophotography with a DSLR or system camera. This updated version combines the proven design of the original Star Adventurer with Wi-Fi control via the free Sky-Watcher app. This allows you to easily adjust the mount from your smartphone, without compromising on precision or stability.

With a carrying capacity of up to 5 kg, the Star Adventurer 2i provides a stable platform for a variety of setups: from wide-angle and telephoto lenses to light telescope optics. The built-in tracking motor provides accurate sidereal tracking of stars and nebulae and also features modes for lunar and solar tracking. For creative photography, there are also timelapse programs (2h, 4h, 12h) that enable spectacular shots of the revolving firmament.

The Photo-Set includes a ball head adapter, an illuminated polar finder and an adapter for Vixen swallowtail. The universal tripod connection (1/4″ and 3/8″) allows you to easily mount the set on any photography tripod. With the integrated polar finder and an optional equatorial wedge, you perform quick and accurate polar alignment - essential for longer exposures without star trails.

Power is flexible: four AA batteries provide up to 72 hours of use time, but you can also operate via mini-USB or a 5V DC power bank. This makes the Star Adventurer 2i perfect for on-site sessions.
