The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi Wi-Fi GoTo is a smart, full-featured equatorial mount that combines portability with precision. This mount takes the beloved Star Adventurer series to the next level thanks to built-in GoTo control, Wi-Fi operation and an integrated polar finder - all in one lightweight system that is perfect for astrophotographers who are on the go a lot.
With only 4.9 kg dead weight and a payload of 5 kg, the Star Adventurer GTi offers an ideal balance of mobility and stability. Easily mount a DSLR or system camera with telephoto lens, or use a compact refractor with astro camera. The precise worm gear drive and motor control allow you to track for hours at sidereal, solar or lunar speeds - crucial for long exposures without trails.
Portability without compromise
The GTi is designed for astrophotographers who often take their equipment to dark locations. With a built-in polar finder with illumination function, you don't need to mount additional accessories to align perfectly. The integrated wedge and 3/8″ tripod connection allow you to place the mount directly on a sturdy camera tripod - no more need for a separate EQ wedge.
Power can be supplied via eight AA batteries or an external 12V source, allowing you to work smoothly even in remote locations. Despite its compact size, the GTi remains extremely stable, thanks in part to the included counterweight bar and 2.3 kg counterweight.
Full GoTo control via Wi-Fi
Using the built-in Wi-Fi, you link the mount directly to the SynScan app (iOS or Android). It gives you access to more than 10,000 celestial objects that can be searched and tracked automatically. Whether you want to photograph the Moon, capture the Andromeda Nebula or track planets: with one tap on your screen, the GTi moves accurately to your target.
In addition, you can adjust the brightness of the polar finder light, program shutter speeds from your DSLR and fine-tune the mount manually - all through the same app. For those who prefer physical controls, there is also a connection for the SynScan hand controller (optional).
