Sky-Watcher Mount Star Adventurer 2i WiFi

The Sky-Watcher Mount Star Adventurer 2i WiFi is the improved version of the popular camera mount, now with built-in WiFi. This allows you to control the mount not only manually, but also wirelessly via the free Star Adventurer app (Android and iOS).

This lightweight and versatile mount is designed for astrophotography with cameras and small telescopes. It accurately follows the rotation of the sky, so you can take long exposures with a DSLR or system camera without star trails. Thanks to the automatic shutter release button (shutter cable optional), you can easily take series of photos for deep-sky or timelapse.

The Star Adventurer 2i offers several modes:

• Sidereal tracking For stars and deep-sky objects.
• Sun and Moon tracking For day and night photography.
• Timelapse programs (12 hours, 4 hours or 2 hours per loop) for dynamic videos of the night sky.

With a load capacity of 5 kg, this mount is suitable for heavy DSLRs with telephoto lenses or small refractors. The built-in illuminated polar finder helps with accurate alignment. Mounting is easy: you attach the Star Adventurer to any photo tripod with 1/4″ or 3/8″ connection. Power is supplied via 4 AA batteries, mini-USB or external 5V power supply, making it ideal for mobile use.
