Designed specifically for planetary photography, Omegon Syncfocus Flip Mirror helps you find and center objects at lightning speed. Planetary cameras often lack a viewfinder, making it difficult to precisely place a planet on the chip. This flip mirror solves that problem: you simply switch between eyepiece and camera and are sure to keep the object perfectly centered.
The built-in 17 mm mirror provides a fully exposed field of view up to a chip diagonal of 23 mm, which is ample for most planetary cameras. Thanks to the parafocal setting, you focus eyepiece and camera at the same time. The sturdy metal focus ring brings both sides into exact focus, so you never have to guess whether an object is still in focus.
At only 170 grams, the Syncfocus is a lightweight solution that is also suitable for smaller telescopes or travel mounts. The rugged metal body provides stability and durability, while the 1.25″ and T2 ports give maximum flexibility for connecting cameras and accessories.
Application
Perfect for astrophotographers who want to capture planets and compact deep-sky objects with a planetary camera. Suitable for refractors and catadioptric telescopes (Schmidt-Cassegrain, ACF and Maksutov). Not usable with Newton telescopes, as the focal length is no longer achieved with them.
