Omegon Premium Moon Filter 50% - 2″

Bright moonlight can be blinding and make details disappear while observing. This 50% moon filter blocks half of the light, making the image calmer and more contrasty. This makes it easier to see craters, mountains and fine structures without disturbing the moon's natural color.

This filter is particularly suitable for smaller telescopes with 2″ eyepieces and for viewing the moon in its brightest phases. Also, when observing bright planets, such as Venus, the filter helps counteract flare and make details more visible.

The filter glass is made of polished, colored glass in an anodized aluminum frame. The use of colored glass instead of a coating keeps the filter reliable and hard-wearing for years.
