Omegon LE planets eyepiece

The Omegon LE Planetary Eyepiece 12.5 mm (1.25 inches) is designed for demanding observers who want to see razor-sharp and high-contrast images of both planets and compact deep-sky objects. With a focal length of 12.5 mm, this eyepiece delivers versatile magnification that is perfect for lunar and planetary details, as well as globular clusters and planetary nebulae.

Thanks to the wide field of view of 55°, you experience a comfortable and natural view, keeping objects in focus for longer without constant adjustment. The generous eye relief of 20 mm makes this eyepiece very suitable for eyeglass wearers and longer observation sessions.

The multiple optics coating and anti-stray design maximize light transmission and darken the sky background to bring out contrast and details. In addition, the eyepiece is free of the annoying “Kidney-Bean effect,” keeping the image stable even with small head movements. With the integrated filter thread, you can easily use 1.25-inch filters such as color or moon filters.
