Omegon Camera veTEC 585 M Mono

The Omegon Camera veTEC 585 M Mono is a versatile camera that can be used for both fast planetary shots and deep-sky photography. With the monochrome Sony IMX585 sensor, you capture more detail than with a color camera because you work with LRGB or narrowband filters for each color channel. This makes the camera an excellent choice for advanced astrophotographers who want to combine flexibility and quality.

The IMX585 sensor offers wide dynamic range, extremely low noise and sensitivity that reveals faint details even at short exposures. The high frame rate makes this camera particularly suitable for lucky imaging of planets, the Moon and Sun. For deep-sky projects, it can be used for stacked short exposures (EAA) or longer integrations on a tracking mount.

The no active cooling design keeps the camera compact and easy to use. Thanks to the standard 1.25” and T2 connection, it can be easily mounted on almost any telescope.
