Omegon Barlow lens 3x 1.25 inch achromatic triples the focal length of your telescope and therefore the magnification of your eyepieces. With a single eyepiece, this gives you three different magnifications - ideal for beginners who want to expand their viewing capabilities without buying a full set of eyepieces right away.

In addition to visual observations, this Barlow is also suitable for simple planetary photography with webcams or planetary cameras. Without a Barlow, planets are often small and lacking in detail. With a 3x Barlow, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars are brought into focus large enough to reveal cloud bands, rings and polar caps.

The lens is composed of achromatic double optics that reduce color errors and keep images sharp. All glass surfaces have a green multicoating that reduces reflections and increases clarity.
