Omegon 2″ eyepiece and filter set
With this accessory set, you'll switch to 2″ eyepieces and open the door to widescreen observations. Three 2″ eyepieces, a 2× Barlow lens, a 2″ zenith mirror and five color filters come together in a sturdy aluminum case. Perfect for those who want to see more of large nebulae, star clusters and galaxies.
Three 2″ eyepieces for wide images
The set includes three 2″ Kellner eyepieces measuring 40 mm, 32 mm and 26 mm. The larger eyepiece size allows you to see more sky at once than with a standard 1.25″ eyepiece. Large open clusters, the Pleiades, the Andromeda Nebula or supernova remnants fit fully into view. The wide eye relief allows relaxed viewing, even if you wear glasses.
2× Barlow lens
The included 2″ Barlow lens doubles the focal length of your telescope and instantly gives you six different magnifications. With an optional adapter, you can also use this Barlow lens for 1.25″ eyepieces.
2″ zenith mirror
The 2″ zenith mirror allows comfortable observation with 2″ accessories on refractors and Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. The mirror has an SC screw adapter and a compression ring so that eyepieces are securely fastened without scratching.
Color filters for contrast
The set includes five 2″ color filters (green, yellow, orange, red and blue). These filters improve contrast on planets and the moon. Thus, details such as the Great Red Spot on Jupiter, polar caps on Mars or fine structures on the moon come out more clearly.
Everything safely stored
All parts are neatly contained in a sturdy aluminum case with foam cutouts, so you can easily carry and protect everything.
