iOptron HAZ31 ALT-AZ - Compact Strain Wave Mount

Lightweight but strong
With its own weight of only 3.7 kg, the HAZ31 can carry up to 14 kg. This means you can mount medium-sized telescopes or large binoculars easily and safely. The mount is stable even without a counterweight, making it perfect for travel or quick setups in the garden.
Smart GoTo control
The HAZ31 uses trusted Go2Nova® technology with a database of 212,000 objects. Control it via handheld controller, tablet or smartphone. Thanks to built-in WiFi, GPS and ASCOM compatibility, you can also pair it with SkySafari, Raspberry Pi or INDI. This way you effortlessly navigate to stars, planets and deep-sky objects.
Safe and easy to use
The electronic friction brake system stops movement immediately upon power failure. After turning on again, the mount calibrates itself and knows its position. This means less hassle and immediate continuation of your observations.
Flexible arrangement
The dual Vixen/Losmandy saddle and multifunction prism clamp offer versatile mounting options. You can fix telescopes and binoculars in various positions. It is compatible with any stable photographic tripod, but the iOptron CF Tripod 40 mm tripod is recommended for maximum stability.
Everything you need
The HAZ31 comes with power supply and a rugged transport bag. Tripod and extensions are optionally available. Light, compact and powerful - this mount is ideal for visualization and portable setups.
