Comfortable and accurate polar alignment
The iPolar makes polar alignment easier than ever. You no longer have to crawl under the pole finder. The built-in camera shows you exactly where the northern celestial pole is. You can see directly on your laptop or PC where the polar axis of your mount is pointing.
Fast and precise alignment
Use the azimuthal and parallactic set screws to easily align the points. The electronics automatically calculate the exact position of the celestial north pole based on date and time. Even if your mount is coarsely adjusted, the camera's large field of view enables accurate alignment.
Works anywhere in the world
The iPolar also works in the southern hemisphere. At low latitudes, the electronics take atmospheric refraction into account. So you always get a correct alignment, regardless of your location.
