Never crawl under the telescope again
With the iPolar, you no longer have to squirm to reach the polar finder. You see everything comfortably on your laptop or PC. So you align your mount quickly and accurately. The built-in camera shows exactly where the northern celestial pole is and where the polar axis of your mount is pointing.

Easy and precise alignment
Turn your mount's azimuthal and parallactic adjustment screws and the iPolar will help you align the two points perfectly. Even if your mount is roughly set, the large field of view and sensitive camera ensure accurate alignment. The electronics calculate the exact position based on date and time.

Works anywhere in the world
Whether you are in the northern or southern hemisphere, the iPolar takes into account the position of the celestial north or south pole. At low latitudes, the system also automatically adjusts atmospheric refraction.

Apple compatible
Using macOS? Download the dedicated app from the Mac App Store and use the iPolar camera directly. iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad also work, but with the iMate Astronomy Control Box to establish the connection. Keep in mind that some apps are chargeable and require additional accessories.

Easy to use
In this model, the USB port is located on the back of the iPolar. This makes connecting and operating even easier. Please note that each iPolar is only compatible with specific iOptron mounts: CEM26, GEM28 and SkyGuider Pro.

Our Tip:
During operation, the virtual pole on your screen moves slightly as you turn the azimuth screws. This is normal and does not affect accuracy.
