The Baader BDSF Digital Solar Filter 160 mm Provides professional protection and precision for digital solar photography with telescopes up to about 160-190 mm outer diameter. The filter reduces sunlight to a safe level for CMOS and CCD sensors, allowing you to capture detailed images of the sun with short shutter speeds.
The special BDSF filter film from Baader is flat, tension-free and neutral in color reproduction. This allows you to produce realistic images with sharp solar granulation and clearly delineated sunspots.
The aluminum filter holder with soft clamping points guarantees firm but secure mounting without damage to the tube or lens. Thanks to the flat optical film, the image quality of your telescope remains unaffected.
