15mm eyepiece - Omegon SWA wide-angle 70°

This 15mm eyepiece from the Omegon SWA series combines a wide field of view with calm, high-contrast imaging. Thanks to its 70° wide-angle optics, you can see more of the sky at a glance and stay in focus longer without having to make constant adjustments.

The optical construction consists of five carefully placed lens elements in three groups. Full multicoating, blackened lens edges and an effective internal baffling system ensure high contrast and minimum reflections. The rubberized outer surface provides grip and the eyepiece is equipped with an infinitely adjustable eyecup so that even eyeglass wearers can utilize the full field of view.

Within the SWA series, all eyepieces are parfocal: when switching between focal lengths, you hardly need to refocus.
