Askar Apochromatic Refractor AP 60/360 - 80/500 V OTA

The Askar Apochromatic Refractor AP 60/360 - 80/500 V OTA is a multifunctional apo that you can flexibly use for a variety of applications in astrophotography and nature observation. Thanks to the interchangeable V60 and V80 lenses, you have two high-quality triplet refractors in one system. Both lenses have two ED elements, which greatly suppress color aberrations and give you sharp, high-contrast images.

The V60 has a focal length of 360 mm at f/6, ideal for wide-field astrophotography. The V80 features a focal length of 500 mm at f/6.25, providing more detail on smaller deep-sky objects. When combined with the included optical accessories, you increase versatility:

• With the reducer you shorten the focal length, ideal for fast exposures and a larger field of view.
• The flattener corrects the field of view and provides razor-sharp stars all the way to the edge, perfect for full-frame sensors.
• The extender extends the focal length, allowing you to capture more detail on the moon, planets and planetary nebulae.

The OTA features a 360° rotator, a built-in viewfinder shoe and 1.25″ and 2″ eyepiece adapters. This makes the telescope suitable not only for photography, but also for visual observation. The multi-function handle makes mounting accessories easy, while the Vixen swallowtail is compatible with virtually all common mounts.
