Celestron Telescope AC 90/1000 Astromaster 90 CG-3 is a versatile refractor suitable for both astronomical observations and Earth observations. With a 90 mm aperture and 1000 mm focal length, this scope provides sharp, high-contrast images with sufficient magnification for planetary observations and detailed observations of the moon.

The fully coated optics ensure clear images. Thanks to the included 90° Amici prism, the images are upright and correctly mirrored, ideal for those who want to use the telescope also during the day. The integrated red dot viewfinder makes it easy to locate objects, while the 20 mm and 10 mm eyepieces allow for different magnifications.

The telescope is mounted on the CG-3 parallactic mount, an upgrade over the smaller CG-2. This mount allows accurate tracking of celestial objects and provides more stability for the longer tube. The sturdy steel tripod is pre-assembled and height adjustable. Accessories are easily stored within easy reach on the tray. For those who want more comfort, the mount can be expanded with a motor for automatic tracking.

The AstroMaster series is known for its good value for money. The 90/1000 is ideal for beginners who primarily want to study the moon and planets, but also offers the ability to view bright deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Nebula.

Application
With this telescope you can see numerous details on the moon, such as craters and mountain ranges. Jupiter and its moons, Saturn with its rings and Mars with polar caps are clearly visible. Bright deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula, the Pleiades and the Andromeda Nebula can also be observed, although the 90 mm aperture remains limited for fainter galaxies. Thanks to the Amici prism, the telescope is also suitable for earth observations, such as landscapes and ships. Astrophotography is not recommended with this model, which requires a larger aperture and more stable mount.
